But Ear (1) was just the start. This summer we've released Phone (1), our debut smartphone and the centre of our hugely ambitious consumer tech ecosystem. Launch week saw us trending on UK Twitter, clocking up YouTube views in the millions and securing press coverage in thousands of leading titles.

The Role

We’re looking for a visionary PR Director to lead and grow our evolving PR team in our London HQ. You will lead the charge in setting our global communications strategy, secure global coverage across all key regions for Nothing and own a strong relationship with the most influential media outlets. As part of it, you will play a vital role in developing our corporate PR strategy and corresponding roadmap ensuring Nothing’s positioning and story is anchored across the media landscape. Finally, as an inspirational leader, you’ll motivate and develop a talented team and ensure they thrive and develop their careers at Nothing.


  • Ensure that the global PR strategy is consistent and reflects Nothing’s strategic vision;
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a growing team to plan and deliver integrated PR campaigns on a global scale;
  • Develop Nothing’s corporate and product messaging while ensuring it’s being anchored across media landscape via corresponding strategy and roadmap;
  • Seek out and discover new media and platforms to maximise earned media;
  • Build on your existing, deep-level relationships with journalists and key media contacts and secure top tier coverage for Nothing;
  • Ensure clear alignment and optimal execution of the global PR strategy, with corresponding roadmap, across key regions.
