But Ear (1) was just the start. This summer we've released Phone (1), our debut smartphone and the centre of our hugely ambitious consumer tech ecosystem. The Role

We are building our retail presence - here in our hometown London - demonstrating Nothing Products, showing the value of the technology and providing aftersales care as required. Our aim is to support our customers in getting the best out of their Nothing product. This is a new retail concept in a fundamentally entrepreneurial, start-up feeling business. This means that everyone in-store needs to be prepared to do anything and everything required running the business and providing the best customer experience. Our Retail Manager will play a key role in leading a team of experts to report to the GM for the UK & Ireland.

You will deliver outstanding customer experiences that fascinate shoppers through the presentation and demonstration of our products. As part of the UK & I Growth and Ops team - you will work with the local sales/marketing/finance and People team to plan, organise and oversee approaches used by the in-store teams. A large focus of your role will be managing and maintaining the back of house operations including inventory and stock management. You will recognise performance needs that need to be addressed and consistently developed.


  • Build, train, and motivate a retail team to ensure our store is truly world-class
  • Oversee all operations including inventory and visual merchandising. Organise and maintain stock deliveries and deal with returns procedures in a timely manner
  • Monitor all key metrics, such as footfall, demonstrations given, units sold and customer feedback; report results back to key stakeholders whilst making strategic recommendations
  • Manage a clear activations calendar, working closely with teams at both a market and group level to launch epic retail experiences.
  • Forecast for the year with data and insights and manage expectations with key stakeholders.
  • Incentivise our customers to purchase products in-store. Give them a reason to come back again and again
  • Create a world-class in-store experience to give customers a unique, VIP experience. A Nothing store shouldn’t feel like anything else!
  • Manage and launch events and promotional programs using relevant marketing tools.
  • Ensure that your wider team are exceptional ambassadors for Nothing and experts at selling our product portfolio.

  • Extensive experience of leading, motivating and developing a customer facing team in a retail environment - ideally in the luxury, lifestyle or fashion space
  • Demonstrable experience of retail store management in terms of operations and people management
  • An exceptional communicator - able to build and cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders and challenge and inspire them accordingly
  • Passionate about consumer technology
  • Be the change - able to design and launch innovative in-store experiences for our customers
  • History of creating innovative solutions that solve complex problems
  • An expert understanding of stock management, operations, work schedules, compliance, health and safety, security, and all the day to day requirements of running a busy retail store.
